  The Bible Says
The Bible tells us clearly why we are here and where we are going after death. Our great Creator becomes our Savior. God is our Heavenly Father, Christ is Brother, and the Bible is an important part of our Christian Religion. It takes more faith to believe that something come from nothing, without a Creator, than it takes to believe that, “In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth.” There is absolutely no evidence anywhere in the universe that the “Big Bang” ever took place, but there is convincing evidence of an All-Wise God in everything that exists. In the six thousand years that man is known to have inhabited the earth; there is not a single record of one species ever developing into another species. A white cow may have a black calf, but that cow will never give birth to a “colt,” or a camel --- her offspring will ever be a part of the “cow” family. The same holds true of horses, dogs, human beings, and all other creature, large or small. The Bible says, “After their kind.” (Genesis 1:24). A man met a boy on a country road with a basket of bread on his arm. “What have you in that basket, my boy?” asked the man. “Bread, sir.” “Where did you get that bread?” “From the baker, sir.” “And where did he get the flour?” asked the man. “From the farmer, sir.” “And where did the farmer get the get the flour?” continued the man. “From seed, sir.” “And where did he get the seed?” persisted the man? The boy paused, then exclaimed in an awe-struck voice, “From God, sir!” Yes, behind every loaf of bread is God! He is also behind the water you drink! And the air you breathe! It never occurred to me that pure air is something to praise God for until the Dr. prescribed oxygen for me several years ago. Now oxygen is more important to me than the food I eat!
The word creation appears Ten times in the Bible and the word, Creator four times. Nevertheless, rebellious human nature continues their attempt to wipe the very thought of God out of their memory.
Traveling to the center of the Earth is a fanciful concept, but consider the reality: We have so far drilled just 7.5 miles into the Earth’s rocky crust, leaving 3,962 more miles to go. The new Japanese research vessel Chikyu won’t exactly break, earth’s core, but it will drill to an unprecedented depth, beginning in late 2007 when it embarks on its first scientific mission off the southwestern coast of Japan. The 57,500-ton rig is equipped with a 5.9 mile-long drill designed to blast 4 miles into Earth’s crust and strike the semi-molten mantle that lies beneath it. There, scientists hope to dig up primordial creatures --- such as hydrogen-feeding microbes that may be thriving under the same conditions as those of the early Earth -- and possibly reveal new clues as to the origin of life. “It is the only place where you might find such ‘ancient life-forms,’” Says, Asahiko Taira, director of Japan’s Center For Deep Earth Exploration, which leads the 21-nation Integrated Ocean Drilling Program in charge of the $540-million ship. Popular Science, November 2005, p.42 The statement, “Scientists hope to dig up primordial creatures,” seems to be the motivation behind this gigantic undertaking. It is strange that man persistently and stubbornly tries to discover how the earth and life came into being while resisting the clear statement found on the first page of the Bible: “In the beginning God created heaven and earth.” The same spirit also urges man to travel to outer space, yet in spite of reaching the moon and Mars, these brilliant minds have come up empty-handed. The only benefit of these projects is the development of technology and science useful for planet Earth.
