My daughter Marvine is called of God to a ministry of prayer. She gets up at least one hour early and spends the first hour of every day in prayer. She receives prayer requests from all over the U.S.and some foreign countries and prays for these people and these problems constantly. Her husband Ken joins her in some cases where counseling is involved, so their house is in truth a house of prayer. Everybody on Staff join for united prayer once a day in addition to the weekly Prayer Meeting. <BR> <BR> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;This is not boasting. It is an admission of weakness. Were we sufficiently strong in ourselves, praying would not be necessary. </STRONG></B></P> <BR><P align="CENTER"><FONT COLOR="MAROON" FACE="Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif" SIZE="6"><B><STRONG>JESUS PRAYED</STRONG></B></P> <BR><P align="JUSTIFY"><FONT COLOR="MINT" FACE="Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif" SIZE="5"><B><STRONG> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Jesus spent days and nights in prayer. Why? Because, as the Son of Man,  He was tempted in all points as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15 <BR> <BR> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;As the Son of God He had a prayer record that has never been matched by any other. He could say to the HEAVENLY FATHER, I know that thou hearest me always (John 11:42). <BR> <BR> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Wouldn t it be nice, when things are at their worst to look up and say those words with confidence,  I know Thou hearest </STRONG></B></font> <FONT COLOR="maroon" FACE="Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif" SIZE="5"><B><STRONG>me</STRONG></B></font> <FONT COLOR="MINT" FACE="Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif" SIZE="5"><B><STRONG> always! Second only to that bliss, is the blessed privilege that is ours as His blood-bought children to say in our desperation,  Lord Jesus this is more than I can take! Please pray for me! My little world is falling apart! My body is racked in constant pain! Nothing goes right on the job! My mate is sick and dying! Nobody seems to care! My prayers are no longer answered! What is wrong? But God saw they were not ready for the utopia He had planned for them; so He led them out into the wilderness for a forty-year training course. There, with no churches to attend and no kind pastor to humor them, Moses set up a portable meeting place and made Aaron and his sons, God s High Priest. <BR> <BR> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The entire plan was a dim reflection of God s loving plan of Salvation in the Person of Jesus Christ.
