The Bible Says . . .

LONG LIVE AMERICA!

"Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things, so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s" (Psalm 103:5).

Sometime ago, God let me claim this verse in a personal way. I was rejoicing in His promise to me -- and then I got sick! I became weaker, and weaker! I was puzzled for a while. Then I remembered something -- God didn’t promise I would never get sick, He promised that I would be "renewed." Today I feel better, in some ways, than I have for ten years. I may die tomorrow and should I do so, I am ready but God has already fulfilled His promise to me. My youth has been renewed "like the eagles." The eagle is renewed each year after the molting season --that’s why these birds live to a great age.

Our Founding Fathers chose the BALD EAGLE as a symbol of the United States of America, and the U.S.A. has already soared to great heights. America is, without question the number one World Power of our day. She is respected as such by friend and foe alike. Together with all loyal Americans, our prayer and our dream is
LONG LIVE AMERICA! My old body desperately needs to be renewed, from time to time. In like manner, our beloved Nation needs to be renewed, right now!

  • A school song was struck down because it prompted values such as honesty, truth, courage, and faith in the form of a prayer.

  • It is unconstitutional for a war memorial to be erected in the form of a cross.

  • The Ten Commandments, despite the fact that they are the basis of civil law and are depicted in engraved stone in the U.S. Supreme Court, may not be displayed in a public courthouse.

  • When a student addresses an assembly of his peers, he effectively becomes a public representative; it is therefore unconstitu- tional for that student to engage in prayer.

  • It is unconstitutional for a public cemetery to have a planter in the shape of a cross, for if someone were to view that cross, it could cause "emotional distress" and thus constitute an "injury-in-fact."

  • Even though the wording may be constitutionally acceptable, a bill becomes unconstitutional if the legislator who introduced the bill had a religious activity in his mind when it was authored.

    "Psalm 9:17

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the NATIONS that forget God."

  • It was her faith in GOD that has made America the greatest nation on earth. If we now turn away from God and deny Him, He also will deny us (Matthew 10:33). We are desperately in need, as a Nation, of being RENEWED like the eagle!

    HISTORY

  • The Romans placed a golden eagle, their chief emblem, on the tip of a spear to represent strength, skill, and bravery. After the 1200s, the eagle became a favorite design on the shields of many knights and noblemen.
  • The first eagle on an American coin appeared in 1776 on a Massachusetts penny. Since that time, the United States has made flags, coins, and paper money bearing the eagle. The bald eagle became the official emblem of the United States in 1787, when it was chosen over Benjamin Franklin’s suggestion of a wild turkey.
