CHRISTMAS 1998
by Charlie Grier

Its time to think about Christmas,
And I can hardly wait!
We'll go again to Grandma's house,
Where we always seem to rate.
She'll make a big dinner again for us -
The finest you ever saw!
Why does she do it? the answer is plain -
She is my Grand Ma Ma!

I know we'll have a lot of fun,
For that we always do.
My uncles and aunts will all be there,
And all my cousins, too.
Its meant to be a day of love;
And love-gifts wlll be given.
They tell of God's love, for on this day
God gave His Son from Heaven!

To think that God would become a man -
A helpless little Babe -
Born long ago in Bethlehem -
Your soul, and mine, to save!
No wonder we celebrate Christmas Day!
No wonder we shout and sing!
That little Babe -- the gift of God's love -
Is Savior now, and KING!
